For a red wine stain you want to act as fast as possible.
The first thing you do is sprinkle salt on the stain. The salt should turn a pinkish color as it soaks up the wine.
After that sits for a while you want to then soak it in a biological laundry soap overnight. The next day just launder according to directions on the care tag.
