I try, I really do, but I'm just not able not to find inspiration in Gossip Girl. I know that the whole preppy but chic is rather 2008, or 07, but I find it so gorgeous! I just love the accessories, the shoes and the dressy sessy hit the town creations. And even though the show is quite ridiculous I can't stop watching since watching means having at least two cravings for "what to wears". I've been trying to adjust to this falls wind, but I think I just have to try get away with "she got her own style" rather than "Isn't that a little last year". I also try to adjust the preppy chic more in line with classy and timeless ;-)
