APWBWGTTD was founded when a blogger named Mingaling moved to Atlanta from the boring suburbs of Orlando.

She initially invited a couple of bloggers she casually stalked, er… met, on ye internet to meet up at The Righteous Room on January 14, 2005, in an attempt to find friends in a new city. Strangely, they found themselves talking about things other than blogs and their love of the drink. The rest, my dears, is history.

The APWBWGTTD continues to meet up monthly at Atlanta’s finest bars and pubs. Our numbers are large and our stances are varied, but we are first and foremost a family bound by nerd-dom.
