So yeah, I bet you are wondering (that is if people even still read this poorly updated blog, sorry…) right about now… hey, where’s the year end album countdown? Well, I can assure you of something; it IS coming. I haven’t had time to get it done, because frankly, I work all of the time.

When I’m not working, I am sleeping; this job is one that wears me out majorly, but it is something that I am glad I worked so hard to get into. Being a nurse is incredibly frustrating, tiring, irritating at times, and very, very draining, but it is also really rewarding.

That being said, I am excited about bringing the year end best albums of 2011 to you, but in the mean time, here is a song that I recently rediscovered; it was on Body Talk part 2, but didn’t make the “cut” for the Body Talk album (which was a compilation of the three EPs). This song is incredible! Why didn’t it make the cut, Robyn? Oh well, at least it was on one of the EPs…

Now… stay tuned for the albums of the year… I am going to try and get that up soon!

Yeah, I notice that I don’t post that much, and that I don’t do nearly enough 5SFs, but to be honest, this new job kinda wears me out; when I have a day off, I don’t get much done, really. Things are going okay with me, however, so no need to fret, that is, if you were for some reason or another.

I am sure, eventually, once I get into more of a groove, I will be able to do more, but right now, sleeping in, and having lazy days off are certainly more of a priority. I hope everyone out there in cyberland is doing well!

I know I should have already done my year end albums countdown (especially seeing as it is 2011 already), but I have just been relaxing, and frankly, I have been incredibly lazy following last semester. I will try to get it up soon though; I WILL be doing something (probably just not as elaborate as previous years). Stay tuned!

So I bet you are wondering… is he gonna do it this year? I mean, he’s been balls to the wall with nursing school non-fucking-stop since January… but where’s my albums of the year posts?! Well, rejoice, because I am DEFINITELY doing a best of 2010 albums list; just not yet. My last final of the semester is on Thursday, so expect to see stuff starting to come together next week or so!!! I have been so busy this year, that I haven’t had much time to devote to music, and as such, I doubt I will even have 31 to post about, so we will just go with the number I deem acceptable. See you soon!

another class complete and 5SF stuff

As of yesterday, I have successfully completed my Peds class. Whew!! That was rough at times, and I am just glad it’s over. I still have two more clinical days, but they shouldn’t be so bad. Now, just to start studying for Pysch’s first test, and get prepared for OB to start up. School work, it seems, is never done.

I know that I spoke about this in the past, and even found a temporary solution, but it looks like the 5SF might be dead for real this time, kids. I can’t add files to grooveshark anymore, and they never have what I want to post. Also, I can’t figure out how to use this plug in without it giving out my file storage area (which was the problem before, and caused my bandwidth to disappear), so I think I might just have to give up. I wish I could figure out something else, but honestly, I’m just so busy right now that I can’t do it on my own. Any solutions that I could figure out fairly easily are welcome. If not, there’s not much else I guess I can do right now; it’s disappointing, but it’s reality, unfortunately.

I know I have seriously been neglecting the 5SF, and for that, I am sad. As many of you know, I have had a CRAZY summer of nursing school, and this week (my first week off since finishing that hellish semester) I wanted to do a 5SF, but honestly, since I have been so busy, I haven’t had a chance to really download/find anything new (at least not 5 songs). That being said, I am going to do everything I can to get my shit together for next week, and hopefully come back strong, and make you all proud. Until then, I am going to try to do more posting, and hopefully, won’t leave this space for such long periods of time again!

Oh shit, Look! I have a blog! HA! Seriously, I hate that I have been neglecting things as badly as I have, but I have been crazy busy with this summer semester; which, by the way, is ALMOST OVER. I cannot wait for a little R&R, which I desperately need. In the mean time, here is a song I heard tonight that I haven’t heard in forever, and I thought it was appropriate, seeing as I really do miss being able to update so much.

After all these years, there really is only one word to describe both this song and the video: FLAWLESS.

… and no update.

Things are okay with me, just still chugging along, making my way through nursing school; one day at a time. It’s spring break this week, so it has been nice to just relax all week (even though I should have been studying). Either way, things are going well my way; nothing to report, which is probably the reason for the lack of blog posts. Regardless, there WILL be a 5SF tomorrow (barring anything that would prevent me from doing it), so I will see you back here tomorrow for that, okay?!

Sorry for the delay, everyone, things have just been busy for me lately: Vacation (cruise to Mexico!), quitting my job (!!!!), and of course, the holidays.

what’s going on with me

I am finishing up the semester, and thank goodness; doing 3 classes in a mini-mester is ridiculous. Nope, it’s beyond ridiculous. All in all, I don’t ever want to do that again, but I am glad to have it (almost all of the way) behind me.

That being said, I appreciate your patience (if you are still reading) in waiting for my top 31 CDs of 2009 blogstravaganza. I promise it’s coming, and I am almost ready to unleash lots of music goodness on you; I am just putting the final touches on the order of the list. Stay tuned! Sorry for all of the run around; things have been crazy in my life!
