In case I haven’t been able to convince you that City and Colour is amazing, please allow me to submit further evidence as to why this is true:
You told me life was a risk…
I just have one last question:
Will it be my heart,
or will it be his?
See what I mean? Completely AMAZING.

UPDATE on the Eagle raid: I no longer THINK this was discriminatory, I know it was. This comment literally send shivers down my spine:
Du-Wayne Ray, store manager of Rawhide Leather, which operates below the Eagle, said that he and one of his employees heard one white uniformed officer say to another, “This is a lot [...]

I have a problem with my PC… can you help?! (And if you say, “get a Mac”, you should “get a life”, because I have one.)
So I noticed my desktop background was gone the other day, and I also noticed a new notice from Windows Vista on the right side of the tool bar, where [...]

One of my favorite comedians, the amazing Ms. Kathy Griffin just released her second comedy album, Suckin’ It for the Holidays last week; and what kind of fan would I be if I didn’t say something about it? I especially wanted to spread the word, because I only found out about it yesterday myself.
After [...]

Imagine my surprise when someone requested to be friends with me on Yelp today, and I find out that he is writing extremely hurtful and bigoted remarks about me in one of his “reviews”. Not only did he post the review, but after it was taken down, he was allowed to remain member of Yelp, [...]

Oh Ikea… how do I love thee? I could go on forever counting the ways. For me, there is something cathartic about putting together your cute furniture, and a sense of accomplishment that comes along with it that is unlike most other things in this world. HOWEVER (and that is a BIG however), occasionally, you [...]

I wanted to post about this song, not only because it is incredibly beautiful, but because it really means something to me. LeAnn Rimes’ What I Cannot Change so succinctly sums up such a major issue for me, and does so with such elegance and grace, that it can’t be ignored. One listen to this [...]

I don’t know how many times I have seen people refer to sexual orientation as sexual preference, but each and every time it pisses me the fuck off. Whether you choose to rest on ignorance or not is no excuse; the word preference is indicative of choice, and being gay is NOT A CHOICE.
So therefore, [...]

Yesterday, I was talking with my friend Deb about Gossip’s new amazing album, and we totally agreed that Pop Goes The World is totally poised to be a new anthem for the gay rights movement!!!
I posted it in last week’s 5SF, and to be quite honest, I CANNOT get enough of this song!!! Have another [...]

Who needs enemies? ESPECIALLY when this particular “role model” is nothing but a non-celebrity that is using his crass, bitchy, and bitter attitude to do nothing but bring the rest of us down to his level. Unfortunately, the person I am speaking of, is faux-celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, and his latest stunt that is [...]

It seems that my outrage yesterday was a little less than it should have been. Turns out, the gesture Obama tried to placate us with, was worth nothing:
The memorandum Obama signed Wednesday is not expected to grant health and retirement benefits to same-sex partners, as that is prohibited under the Defense of Marriage Act.

That’s right, [...]

Am I the only one who thinks that Obama’s recent act of granting benefits to same sex couples is kind of, well, a cop out? First of all, it is only for federal employees, which is definitely nice, since I work for the government, and know many people that will be able to take advantage [...]
