The design aesthetic of black, white and yellow is really starting to grow on me.  What I can I say, it's crisp, clean, it's still pretty.  It's not too feminine, not too masculine.  I can see why so many designers go with this color scheme.



....and everyone knows that Kelly Wearstler is just awesome. Certainly, some of her designs can go a little over the top but this design is refined, suubdued and boutique-y.



I am loving this spooky Bugs Bunny-type sculpture. And I love that both sculptures have the appearance of a silhouette and that they're not imposing on this space.

Yellow is such a fun color to wear and decorate with because it's warm and happy and sometimes a little out of the ordinary. In the name of golden yellow fall leaves, my new yellow pillow (any day now!) and my favorite pair of yellow flats, I thought I'd look for a few more yellow to spruce up my apartment:



Coming and Going Coat Rack by Urban Outfitters... Actually, I have an Ikea coat rack that I found on the street. I might just paint that yellow!

Trollsta Sideboard by Ikea....Every once in a while, Ikea designers create a to-die for piece of furniture, and I think this has to be my all-time favorite. I would love this in my living room as part of my media/entertainment center. Absolutely gorgeous!!!



I have a ton of black leather journals, but a bright one like Keel's Simple Diary, Volume One would add a just a bit more fun to my journaling!


Seriously, if I had wallpaper like this in my apartment, I'd be dancing off the walls too!
